A bag for (almost) any day!
Hey guys, just a few days ago, I was off travelling again. As you all probably still remember, I’m working as a freelance photographer and director of photography (here, you can see a little bit of my work and of course, here on CATS & DOGS). Normally, I’m travelling at least with one big suitcase for equipment and another bag for all my personal stuff. Especially, when I’m not travelling by car, but by train or plane, this can become really annoying with all the carrying and the security controls at the airport.
But this time, I was travelling light to a job in Hamburg – not too far away, but I took a coat as you know, Hamburg is quite a bit further north as Dusseldorf is. But at least, I didn’t have to take too much luggage, so my new brown weekender bag by KIOMI* was the perfect choice. Everything did fit inside: camera, lenses, some extra clothes and some soul food for the trip!
In fact, I did own a weekender bag before (the ideal size for a bag in my opinion), and loved it. But at some point, that bag had to pay the price of time, so I started to only travel with my trolley suitcase. But now that I own a weekender again, I got reminded how much I love these kind of bags. You won’t take along too many things, you have got a secure and also a stylish companion and I really like these qualities in a bag.
And since you can never be sure about the weather when you’re travelling to Hamburg in autumn, the rest of my outfit consisted of my perfect brown chelsea-boots by Sacha*, a timeless black coat by H&M (bought it last year), as well as a simple white long sleeve shirt. In case of sun, I also of course took a pair of sunglasses. I opted for the really stylish and classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses I got via Smartbuyglasses*.
How do you like my “work outfit” then? Do let me know in the comment section!
