Let’s take summer indoors with some beautiful flowers!
My sweeties, today I have a lovely new interior-story for you all. Now, that summer is in high bloom, I’m celebrating it inside our home, too. I created a true sea of flowers on our lovely massive wood dining table by Home24*, which you’ll probably remember from this interior-post and also from this home and living story from our loft.
You’ll also probably know from my Instagram page, that I love flowers more than anything. I think, I probably should’ve become a florist, but who knows, perhaps that’ll be my job one day… never say never, right? But that’s the reason why our home sometimes looks like a true flower shop or a florists-workshop, hehe.
Flowers have the power to change the atmosphere in any kind of room. They give me the feeling of coming home and truly feeling at home where I live. Without flowers, everything is just cold and impersonal. With flowers, everything feels warm and lovely. It does make such a difference to me. Do you feel the same?
For today’s table decor, I have created a setting including a beautiful bouquet named “Blue Fountain” by Bloomy Days*, flowers I collected from the meadow and one monstera-leaf that I got to take along from the TRIANGLE Store-Opening. In this way, soft meets wild, big meets small and all that in a very minimalist order so that the arrangement still feels very calm.
By the way: I mix the vases as I like and intentionally, I use very different ones. In this way, the setting feels a little bit vintage and the different vases fit all the different kinds of flowers perfectly. And I find the most unusual ones for very little money on flea-markets!
How do you like my table decor and the pictures we shot at our home again? I really hope you like them. Let me know!
