Summer Beauty Essentials

Every summer, I’m discovering my natural beauty more and more. Now that I’ve turned 33, I’m far beyond wearing heavy make-up during the summer months. Mostly, I am not wearing any make-up at all but for special occasions, I like to put on some highlights, nonetheless.

Today, I would like to show you my summer-beauty-favourites that I’m currently using all the time. Among then after sun protection and after sun, but also bronzer, highlighter and sparkling eye shadow.

My summer-beauty-routine

My typical summer-beauty-routine currently looks like this: after a gentle cleansing with water and a cleanser (for example one from Caudalíe*), I’m applying my sun care with anti-wrinkle effect by Caudalíe* to my face, neck and chest. For me, it is the most important thing to always apply sun care on my face, as it is the only way to work against premature aging of the skin caused by UV-A rays.

When I want to create a summer-beauty-look on top of the sun care, I am adding some bronzer. My favorite bronzing products are by Lancaster, as I really love the scent and the quality of the products. Currently, my two favorite bronzing products are the Lancaster Face Bronzer SPF 15* and the 365 Sun Bronzing Powder LSF10*.

For some extra highlights, I’m adding the Teint Couture Shimmer Powder by Givenchy* and some glowy eye shadow like this one by Chanel, but there are also less pricey alternatives, for example from Art Deco.

After an intensive session of sunbathing, I am also always applying after sun care to prolong the tan and also hydrate the skin perfectly. I am currently testing the new after sun care by Caudalíe*, of which I will tell you more, soon! But I can already say that I’m really liking it so far!

What are your summer beauty favorites? Let me know in the comments!
