#penpartygreece and what you need to know about the new E-PL8 camera.
My sweeties, now that I’m back home for a while, already, I can say with certainty: I waaaant to go back to Greece! Especially now, that autumn is raging with all might, I could imagine nothing better than hanging by the pool with my German/Austrian blogger babes Nina, Carola, Amandine and Kiki all day long…
Well, not all day long, because actually, we were invited to Greece for #penpartygreece and more precisely, for the launch of the newest baby from the Olympus PEN* family – the E-PL8! A dream of a system camera that doesn’t only take incredibly neat photos thanks to all the different, interchangeable lenses, it also lets you take small video clips and now, also edit them right on the camera so you can actually upload a full little movie right onto your phone. Such a cool new feature for an already perfect “blogger camera”. I was already in love with the E-PL7, so I’m sure the next generation will make me just as addicted to using it everywhere.
Many of my Instagram-pics are already taken with the PEN and thanks to the camera integrated wifi, it only takes seconds to upload them to my phone and post them right away. It basically is the better iPhone camera but so much better! Like this, taking pictures is endless fun all day long. I love it! Also, all the pictures in this post have been taken either with the new Olympus PEN E-PL8 or with my old E-PL7 – either way, they are great, aren’t they?
How do you like compact system cameras? Do you also love them or do you still prefer taking pictures simply with your phone? Or, perhaps, you are a pro and would only take pictures with your professional DSLR-cameras? In fact, I believe that a mix of all three is perfect for my business because in this way, I always have the right equipment for any possible situation by my side. And that is basically what we need, right? So that we are always really happy with the pictures we are taking!
Enjoy my pictures from Greece and let me know your opinion on this camera. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section!
