“Hold me fast, ´cause I’m a hopeless wanderer…”
Hey guys! Wow, what a morning that was, on that one day during our week on Majorca. Ricarda and I took a hike really early in the morning on a day that promised to become a sunny one and suddenly, there it was: the perfect sunrise. And as the low light slowly fought its way through the pine trees, I thought to myself:
There are moments in life that feel like little holes in time. In which time stands still and you can’t help but enjoy and disappear into your own thoughts for a while. A second like a year, a minute like eternity.
This golden hour (which, in fact, did only last a couple of minutes until the sun turned from red to yellow to almost white) was so full of beauty and glory that I could only stand there, in awe of it all. The warmth of the light, when it lays so low, is simply without comparison. I am so happy that we did take some pictures of this special moment so as to share them with you all today.
My folk-rock inspired outfit – a complete look by Breuninger*:
As timeless and special this amazing moment of sunrise was to me, so is also the outfit I’m wearing in this post: the incredibly chic and comfortable waistcoat by PAUL*, as well as a suitable hankerchief, also by PAUL*, which is a Breuninger brand by the way, the super cool leather jacket by gipsy*, my new favourite chino pants by BRAX*, the delicate brown leather wallet by THE BRIDGE* and those marvellous boots by H by hudson* in a stylish used-look.
In the golden light of sunrise, this outfit almost feels like it was taken from a different time in this universe – a time without beginning or end. I really appreciate and soak up those moments without stress or pressure. I wish for many more of these moments and will always remember this one when I’m wearing this outfit.
How do you like this look which feels like a second skin to me? And do you also own clothes that remind you of very special moments in your life? I can’t wait for your comments!
