About fashion week in Berlin and new perspectives.
My sweeties, tomorrow, we’ll travel top Berlin again, my old home, to spend some time at fashion week, see some shows, meet some brands, but not too much, there’s never enough time for everything, anyway. But the most important thing in Berlin? Not freezing to death!
Because in the west of Germany, here in Dusseldorf, winter is treating us quite nicely and we’re not yet used to real winter weather. We didn’t have ANY snow, yet, and the temperatures and sun are really fantastic. It almost feels a little bit like spring with all the birds chirping in the trees.
But today’s outfit is something I will only be able to wear indoors in Berlin. Wearing this kind of look outside would probably mean my certain death. Luckily, though, both VILA and mint&berry sent me some nice winter coats just in time for fashion week, so I’m all covered in every sense of the word.
Did you notice something about the picture above, by the way? Yes, it’s the perspective, isn’t it? Or rather the cropping of the picture. It looks a little weird, right? But right now, inspired by TV shows like “Mr. Robot” and “Sherlock”, I want to make my pictures more interesting and cropping it at weird spots is perfect for that. It immediately makes you stop and think: “What is happening in the far right corner of the image?” So exciting, I’ll keep experimenting, promise!
