Talking about a wild mix of clothes and revolutionary smartphone photography
My sweeties, do you remember? About two weeks ago, Max and I went to attend a super cool workshop day in Berlin with Huawei* and German star photographer Paul Ripke (you can still read all about it in this post!). During this workshop, we learned a lot of things about smartphone photography and especially, about the Huawei P) phone about which I wanna talk a bit more in this post. Sorry, it’s just so amazing when it comes to photography, I had to!
Okay, so you could now say: “Bah, a phone doesn’t need to replace my camera, I just wanna use my phone for WhatsApp!”, but if you, like me, are a little bit into Instagram, you’ll soon notice that the pictures taken with a smartphone definitely generate the larger amount of likes, compared to pictures taken by a professional DSLR camera. And if your smartphone pictures are really great quality, then woahhh… by the way, Paul Ripke told us the same story. Pictures taken with his Leica camera which is worth many thousands of Euros, don’t generate as many likes as his smartphone pics.
For visual people like myself, this is kinda sad in a way, but on the other hand, with a great smartphone that can take amazing pictures, it’s all good. In cooperation with Leica, Huawei has created a dual-camera which allows you to take pictures with more light, better details, a fantastic contrast and brilliant black and white. And the best? In the pro mode, you may decide yourself which ISO you’re gonna use, which time and white balance… everything! Luckily, Paul Ripke gave us a quick and dirty introduction on how to use all these assets, but even by yourself, you will learn very quickly how to get it right.
My outfit, by the way, may seem a little wild at first, but I love it and thing that it’s quite nice and edgy in a way. And I already have so many combination possibilities in mind for my brown skirt by VILA. How do you like the look?
