A lovely place to restore and relax.
My sweeties, Max and I have been living in our Dusseldorf loft apartment for almost two years now. And even though we managed to create a beautiful home for ourselves for most of the place, we never really got round to sleep on more than a simple mattress.
We knew it couldn’t go on like this, especially, since the bedroom is such an important place to restore and relax, gain new energy and have a good night’s sleep.
So, finally, I can now show you how I introduced my ideas from this inspiration bedroom post into reality (if you click on that inspiration post again, you’ll also get all the infos on all the accessories in our bedroom). The fantastic bed in Scandinavian design is by Home24* and is the main piece in our bedroom, of course. It measures 1,60m x 2,00m and fits our mattress perfectly. Now, we are sleeping like little angels.
The two beautifully framed pictures (I love minimal art like this) I got from JUNIQE* by the way. Aren’t they lovely?
By the way, with the code Ricarda10, you’ll get 10% reduction on all orders over 100 Euros at Home24 until the 31st of October 2017! Even sale articles! So if you feel like you wanna freshen up your bedroom now, too, it would be a great chance to save a little bit of money.
In our little jungle, we are now feeling very very comfortable. It is cozy and yet minimal and very close to nature which I love. Through this colour scheme of brown, grey and green, the room feels calm and relaxing and not at all too loud or painfully colourful.
I’m also especially happy about the fact that my old Singer sewing machine table has found a new place in our bedroom. In this way, the old meets the new and turns the whole thing into something very individual.
How do you like our bedroom? And how did you design your own sleeping and relaxing place? Maybe you also got some new inspiration from this article, too? Do let me know in the comments
