Children, how time flies! It feels as though we only celebrated NYE a few days ago and now it’s Christmas time again, already! I can’t believe how fast this year went by. And even though I’m clearly a summer child, I do like December. Not because of the cold or the short days but because of the festive vibes, the lights and the sweets.
And because I even like the days previous to Christmas better than Christmas itself, I am really happy to invite all our best friends to a lovely Christmas dinner each year. It has become a lovely tradition and I’m always inventing new recipes for this occasion. And luckily, for this occasion, the #willkommendaheim* campaign by BAUR* came right on time to give me the opportunity to decorate a lovely Christmas dinner table with their products.
Because you know what? It is actually super easy to decorate a beautiful Christmas dinner table and you don’t even need much. Just a certain taste and feeling for form and colour and some nice decorative articles like a beautiful set of cutlery and some exquisit glasses.
Of course, I wanted our table to be as minimalistic as the rest of our home but I still wanted it to be warm and welcoming. That’s why I opted for beige and light green as my colour scheme, some natural aspects and all in all, a light feeling. You can see it on the pictures – how do you like my decoration?
Oh, and I’d be so happy if I could inspire you a little bit with my decor – that is, if you are planning on hosting a Christmas dinner at home as well. Do let me know in the comments!
