Just one more week and then we’ll be off again towards sunnier and warmer weather. I’m honestly so happy to be escaping the cold and darkness one more time this year in order to soak up some warmth and light for the winter months to come.
Sun in November – taking care of our skin
For most of us, exposing our skin to the sun is already a thing of a couple of weeks in the past. Now, the paleness returns and thus, if we decide to escape the European winter for warmer and sunnier regions, we will have to be extra careful about protecting our skin from UV light. Thus, my favorite Caudalíe suncare line* will be a constant companion on this trip, again. (In this article, I already talked in depth about the Caudalíe suncare line.) Do have a look, again. For me, there is no better suncare line out there that also protects the oceans.
Furthermore, I’ll also protect my skin with t-shirts and hats and my eyes with sunglasses and will try to stay in the shade during the midday hours. Being mindful about our skin is something so important. After all, we only have this one skin…
The Caudalíe Vinoperfect Serum*, by the way, is the ideal companion for the suncare line. It lightens pigmentation marks and supports a natural glow. Lightly tanned skin will look even more beautiful with this serum.
Taking decorative cosmetics one the trip
When it’s warm, I tend to use only very little make-up (it will run off thanks to the heat, anyway, hehe). But some of my must-haves by Benefit, Catrice and ARTDECO will definitely come along, so I’ll just present them to you here…
I will use the Roller Liner Eyeliner by Benefit* for a natural, romantic look that will make the use of mascara almost unnecessary. And for my eyebrows, I’m using the Catrice Brow Colorist Semi-Permanent Brow Mascara** which doesn’t only put my eyebrows in a good shape but also colors them over time. So practical. Finally, since the launch of my own Blogger Boxx I’ve been using the Galaxy Eye Powder by ARTDECO* very often. The subtle sparkle is just perfect and I can’t wait to see how it looks in the sun.
Finally, I’m also putting the beautiful scent “Mister Marvelous” by BYREDO** into my bag as an ultimate must-have and like this, I’m ready for the trip. At last, beauty-wise.
Oh, but before I forget, I’m never going anywhere without the Caudalíe foam cleanser* in a travel size. It’s one of my all-time must-haves because it deeply cleanses my skin in the most gentle way.
Are you planning a winter getaway, too? What are your ultimate travel must-haves when it comes to beauty products?
