About a big word and what it means to me, personally…
My sweeties, during our Majorca vacation, I retrieved it for myself, my freedom. I mean, not on every day in every place (our hotel was small and not very comfortable), but there were moments where I got the wild feeling that I was just exactly in the place where I wanted to be – where I was able to do exactly what I wanted to do. Feeling truly free.
In the past weeks, I was really stressed, had a lot of work that felt like I couldn’t cope with, anymore. I had some breakdowns out of which only my sweet man Max could help me a little. I was tired, touchy and sensitive to all kinds of emotions. I was even lying awake at night because my mind was so very active.
But on Majorca, I retrieved that freedom. Climbing through the rocks, which was quite a daring enterprise, but finally standing at a steep cliff, overlooking the vastness of the ocean while the sun was rising low and warm above it all – those moments of freedom and absolute calmness do give back so much power.
And even more when my Max is by my side. Together, these moments are even more special and powerful. And exactly in those moments, when not only the sublimity of nature, but also the love of your soulmate overtakes, everything else becomes so much less important. Then and there, this moment could last forever.
I’m a big city kid, but the wild of nature is the place where I find true and inner peace…
This kind of freedom, I definitely only feel when I’m out in nature. Overlooking the endlessness of the ocean or deep into large valleys just feels so good to me. This is a kind of feeling I could never get in the city, even though I love to live here. But it’s not the same. I’m a big city kid, but the wild of nature is the place where I find true and inner peace. I should take these kinds of breaks like in Majorca more often, that’s what I learnt most from our small vacation.
Where is your happy place? And do you rather travel alone or with your bestie? I’m really looking forward to your comments!
And how do you like my outfit?
I am sooo in love with this all-over Breuninger*-look. Since we are lucky enough to have a Breuninger-house in our city Dusseldorf, we are really big fans of it. You can find the best luxury-brands over there and also, ANY you could imagine. If you should be in Dusseldorf at some point, do check out the house at the Kö-Bogen, the architecture is impressive as well. But about the outfit: especially the white, flared 70’s style jeans and the checkered coat are amazing, aren’t they? By the way: in the next days, Max is gonna show you his outfit in more detail as well – it’s also a complete Breuninger-look!
