Kaviar Gauche loves the modern bride and the modern bride loves Kaviar Gauche… it’s a fact and if you didn’t know it up to this point… well, now you do.
Originally from Berlin, two lovely ladies designing brideswear under the label Kaviar Gauche, have really quite established themselves in Paris by now and even though I’m always sad to see great German designers go work abroad, there couldn’t be a better place for Kaviar Gauche than Paris.
And so, the show that took place yesterday evening at the Salons France Ameriques, which offered the ideal surroundings for an unforgettably beautiful presentation of the new season designs, was a full success once again. Electronic church music supported the show just as nicely as the glorious rooms we had been invited to see from the inside. The delicate designs varied in shape and detail and offered numerous ideas for the modern bride-to-be. From classic shapes to delicate lace applications and unusual constructions of form and material, this presentation had it all – once again. Because actually, when you look back on past collections, I wouldn’t have expected anything less. Kaviar Gauche simply understands the modern bride who still loves her classic touch and the highest quality imaginable.
The beautiful make-up was created in collaboration with Catrice cosmetics, by the way. It included a very reduced eye-make-up, a beautiful glow and a soft yet strong red lip. The make-up as well as the shiny, strict hair suited the designs so well. I was smitten and so thankful that Catrice had invided me to see the show with them!
But now, what do you girls think of this collection? Do you already have a favourite piece or could you even imagine to marry in Kaviar Gauche yourself? I’m looking forward to your comments and I hope you like the pictures!
