My dearies, I wish you all a happy Sunday! I hope your day will be calm and comfortable and I hope you’ll be surrounded by the people you love and that you cherish that, because it is not a self-understanding that we are able to spend time with our loved ones as much as we like. What if you live in another city or even in another country as your family? What if it’s even another continent? What, if you are a refugee and half of your family was left behind in a country of raging war? What if your man lives in another city and what, if it takes hours to travel there by train? What if someone you love has to stay at the hospital and so on? There is no guarantee that our beloved ones will always be there for us – be there WITH us, we should always remember that.
Sorry, I didn’t want to spoil your Sunday mood… I just wanted to remind you all to sit down for a moment and remember how lucky we all are that we can actually spend time with our loved ones (almost) whenever we want – if that is the case for you. And to be thankful for that, so utterly thankful for the warmth and the love the people closest to us can give. It is the biggest gift in the world.
Today, I also wanted to show you some inspiration for a comfy Sunday at home, including hot coffee from a cute mug, soft blankets, cushions and furs and some nice decoration. I hope my selection meets your taste and inspires you to stroll around the nice online shops I linked to up there. Enjoy and have a lovely day!
PS.: If you haven’t seen it on my Facebook-page already, I just discovered that an incredibly talented actor I really enjoy watching turns out to also be an incredibly talented singer I really enjoy listening to. If you love singer-songwriter music, you should check out Laurence Fox‘s single “Headlong” right now. The debut album is out in February:
