My dear readers, as some of you might have noticed, I’m not actually living in Berlin full-time anymore. The chaos, the dirt and the huge amounts of people really got on my nerves at some point and I felt so tired of this city, that I decided to move back to my hometown Hannover for a while. Definitely not to stay forever, but for the moment, only staying in Berlin up to 2 weeks a month is definitely enough!
But that also meant we needed a place to stay for Berlin fashion week. Luckily, the boutique hotel i31* in Berlin-Mitte offered us to stay for 4 nights and really get to know this sweet and lovely place!
We had a lot of space in our room, a nice shower, a comfy bed and a free mini-bar (yayy!). We even had super fast wi-fi (so so important for someone who works online all the time!) and table football!
Of course, we didn’t spend all that much time at the hotel, since fashion week was so busy, but we definitely enjoyed some nice evenings in their green garden and the super tasty breakfast buffet in the mornings. Fresh juice, fruit and bread were among my favourites.
The only bad thing about this hotel? Well, two things: the fact that we couldn’t stay even longer and that we couldn’t take along the cool tables that were situated all over the lobby. We even had one of those in our room, but it kind of didn’t fit into my suitcase. I’d have stolen it, otherwise (okay, maybe not – anyone know where I can buy those?).
I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures we took and perhaps, you’ll check out this hotel (with really fair prices per night and room) once you are thinking about visiting Berlin! The location is really close to Naturkundemuseum which is super central!
