“Uhm, excuse me? Did you notice? You’re standing on your sneakers.”
Yeah, right, haha. I’ve actually lived to see that happen, already. And even some people really close to me (like my dear Max) totally can’t understand why anyone would walk on the back part of their shoes… like you do with babouches, for example or now, sneakers. Hmm… it is definitely hard to explain. All I can say it that it simply looks much cooler like this. The foot looks smaller and the whole outfit gets an immediate style-upgrade like this. Or at least that’s what I believe, haha. Of course, it is totally fine with me that some people would never understand this. I simply won’t try to explain it to them. But I’m sure you guys understand me and as long as nobody on the street needs to tell me how to do it right, I’m all chilled-out, hehe.
By the way, did you know that almost every year, I tend publish one outfit in front of these kind of white, blooming bushes in June? I totally forgot what they’re called (perhaps some of you know?) but they’re so gorgeous and smell of Jasmine! In 2010, I published my first outfit in front of one of these kind of bushes and here, you can have a look at last year’s outfit once again. Isn’t that a funny idea? I love repetition if it happens in this way. And I just looove the look of these blooming bushes.
Oh, and this blouse is quite new and from MANGO. It’s one of my favourite new blouses because it has this kind of Indian hippie-cotton quality. Luckily, it doesn’t carry typical hippe-colours, too, haha. And another new-in favourite is my teeny tiny mini bag by ZAC POSEN. It’s so small but it’s such BIG LUUURVE!
How do you like my sweet summer outfit? Have you got a favourite piece? And what do you guys think of sneaker slip-ons?
