What are your best reasons for more green in your everyday-life?
My sweeties, the day before yesterday, I spent an extremely exciting day at the Weber Grill Academy in Berlin, where we, together with the initiative 1000 Gute Gründe, learned loads of things on how to grill with various herbs, create lovely DIY’s with them and simply found out how to integrate more flowers and herbs into everyday-life.
As you all know from various posts like this one, I simply looove flowers and plants so much. I couldn’t imagine our home without flowers or pot plants because they really give life to a clean room. And anyway, there is always a good reason for a flower gift, don’t you agree? At the event, we even created two very lovely DIY’s: a cute pot with a chili plant and afterwards, a herb basket with colourful flowers.
But as much as I know and love about flowers, to cook and grill with fresh herbs was something rather new to me. Even if my parents have a big garden and eating herb salad and fresh garden mint in my joghurt was something I always loved, actually cooking with herbs is something I only learned at the event. While we created a tasty 3-course-menu, the cooking chefs taught us many simple recipes with fresh herbs that tasted so good!
I bet that there are even more than 1000 good reasons for flowers and plants in our lives – which are yours?
