Our festival-essentials and which line-up we’d like best
Hey babes, today, it’s the first of May which also means that summer is really close now. And that also means that festival season is about to begin again in Europe! Yes, we really don’t need to travel thousands of miles into the desert of California to see fantastic acts live and open air on stage. After all, in Europe, we’ve got soo many great festivals: Hurricane and Southside, Lollapalooza Berlin and Paris, Bilbao BBK Live, Rock en Seine, Sziget, Pukkelpop, Primavera Sound, Rock am Ring, Glastonbury and soo soo many more!
Here in Europe, there are numerous large, medium and small festivals for every taste and any kind of people. Do you have got a favourite festival??
And our festival looks? Please, no chliché, thank you very much. No flower crowns and ribbons, no tassles and all that. Much more than that, our festival outfits have to be good for jumping and dancing while still looking relaxed, cool and summer-ready. And for all that, the festival and summer collection by Superdry* is 100% ours!
“Relaxed cargo-shorts* are perfect for any festival, as you can place all the essentials in all the many pockets of the trousers which is pretty cool. Along with those, I’ll only wear a simple, relaxed and vintage-inspired t-shirt*, sunglasses and a pair of flip flops* (or sneakers). If I do have to transport some more bottles or anything, I’ll also take along a backback, though. You never know what the lady wants to take along after all, eh”
“Ripped, black denim-shorts* are an all-time favourite of mine – they are sexy, comfortable and so very rock’n’roll – they are party-perfect so to say. I can jump and dance with them until the morning light. But I don’t want to look too rock’n’roll, so to satisfy my girly side, I like to add a feminine top, for example a pretty shirt*. And since I want the freedom to jump around, I’m never wearing any heeled shoes to festivals – only sneakers!”
By the way, if we had the chance to choose, this is what our perfect festival line up would look like! What do you think, guys? PS: yesss, we love rock, indie, folk und alternative guitar music! All that radio crap, modern r’n’b, rap music, current hip-hop and minimal electro is just shite – sorry, can’t listen to that.
Our Dream Festival Line Up:
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mumford and Sons
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
Queens of the Stone Age
Portugal, The Man
The Black Keys
The Flaming Lips
And even if this festival will never happen (although you never know), you can simply create a mixtape of all your favourite songs from your favourite bands and take that tape on road trips, to the park, to the BBQ, to the beach… whereever! And it doesn’t cost a thing!
Our dream festival and our outfits are ready, so how about you guys? Which acts would you love to see at a festival and what would be your ideal outfit for that?
