A Nu(de) look for my fingernails

After I have been wearing easy French nails for almost a year now, with just a hint of rosy color, I’ve recently come to enjoy more creative nail designs again. It all started with the festive Christmas season and New Year’s that I’ve added a bit of sparkle into my nail design and that’s how it all started off again. And, of course, a new nail design gives you such a good, fresh feeling, doesn’t it? Especially, with a touch of sparkle!

A new nail design, for me, is a little bit like a new hair style or wearing make-up for the first time since you’ve returned from vacation. An immediate wellness-feeling. And isn’t there anything better than feeling good in your own skin? Of course, a new nail style isn’t a world savior, but it is a very lovely thing to do for yourself, indeed.

I usually create my own nail designs as I love thinking up new styles and being creative. For this look, for example, I’ve created a nude look with sparkly elements with three different essie-colours which I truly enjoyed so much. If you don’t feel like making your own nails, though, you can now easily book an appointment for a manicure via Douglas Beauty Booking* online 24/7. That is, if you are located in Düsseldorf or Berlin.

Which type of manicure girl are you? Do you do it at home? Or do you prefer a good manicure at a studio? I’m looking forward to your comments!
