We just love traveling. Every aspect of it is wonderful and exciting. From the beginnings of planning a trip over booking, waiting, packing and being on the road, the preparations are full of excitement. While being at your travel destination, though, you usually ride a wave of new impressions and it’s only until after you’ve returned home that you get the chance to actually let it all sink in and truly enjoy the trip you have had. Does anybody feel the same?
Our most beautiful travel moments 2019
In 2019, we travelled a lot again – of course. After all, that’s what we love doing the most. We went to visit our favorite island Majorca twice, came to visit Scotland for the first time, as well as Nice in France and also went to our favorite region Provence. Sylt was super relaxing and the Swiss Alps so impressive. And not to forget, beautiful Marrakech was a dream once more. We loved it.
But our biggest and most impressive trip was, without any doubt, our two-weeks cruise with TUI Cruises* on the Mein Schiff 1 through the Caribbean Sea. We had never thought that, even now, we would still be dreaming and talking about this trip and how wonderful it all was with the open sea and the intense relaxation we felt during this unique trip.
We are still dreaming about the tasty food, the relaxing days on the water with sunbathing, spa and relaxing with a view on the endless blue. We are also still reminiscing the day trips in all the different countries like Mexico, Costa Rica, Columbia and Jamaica. In our first blog post about our cruise, we talked about all that in detail, so do have a look at that first article again if your like!
What’s coming in our travel year 2020
Of course, we have planned a couple of trips in 2020, as well. We can’t help ourselves! Of course, the best thing would be to book another cruise with TUI Cruises*. After all, we could already use the relaxation again and another route would sure be exciting!
But first of all, I’ll be spending the whole of March in Bali – without Max – to do my 200 hour yoga teacher training. I’m super excited for it as I’m sure it’s gonna be an experience of a lifetime and also I can’t wait to teach yoga afterwards! In April, we would then love to go to Majorca again before we’re visiting Greece in May. Max has never been to Greece before, so this is gonna be great!
Inspired by our Carribean Sea cruise with TUI Cruises*, we would also love to visit Costa Rica again for a longer period of time. Perhaps, we can realize this already in 2020? Let’s see… and for a special project, we’ll be traveling back to the South of France in late Summer. So excited for that, too!
