Because I’ve been asked by some of you, I would like to share some of my favorite yoga videos for my home practice today. I thought this might be helpful for some of you, no matter if you are a yoga beginner who wants to try it out at home, or an experienced yogi looking to deepen their practice at home. No matter why you choose to train at home, I believe it’s a good thing!
I, for my part, have been practicing yoga solely at home for the first couple of years. I loved having the time to get to know my body – finally, and to work out at my own pace, without any external distractions. Home, for me, is a safe space where anything is possible and I am much more focused than in yoga class at a studio.
But these days, it’s all in the mix for me. I at least attend one yoga lesson at a studio per week which helps me to work on my alignment and gives me new inspiration for my own practice. The rest of the week, I train at home on a daily basis and I hardly ever miss one day. I also attend hot yoga classes from time to time as it really helps me to deepen my stretches and I intend to do hot yoga more frequently from next year on as well.
Only doing yoga at home is something I can’t imagine, anymore. But attending daily classes at a studio is simply not possible for me as I don’t have enough time and money on my hand to do so. That is why I like to use my 45 to 90 minute videos and work out at home. But oh boy, there are so many options out there and YouTube is so big. So, to help you all a little bit, I have collected my 10 favorite yoga work out videos in vinyasa style for you. Perhaps you’ll enjoy them as much as I do – at least I hope so!
