My dearies, fashion week Berlin is over and many of my blogger colleagues already talked about the things they disliked about the blogsphere once again after this week. Superficiality, ignorance and jealousy were only some of the aspects of behaviour I too had to notice at times. Sometimes, you just can’t ignore that special, weird look in someone’s eyes.
Luckily, I was accompanied by a lovely photographer all fashion week long and so I had the chance to ignore most of the bullshit of fashion week and simply talk silly random stuff all the time. Same with some sponsors and my agency, by the way and also with some of my lovely colleagues like Jasmin and Minnie or Charlotte and Stephanie, whom I met for the first time outside of instagram this past week.
But no matter the hate, I don’t want to be part of it. I am so happy to see the other kind of digital influencers, the ones, that love their work and take it seriously, too. We don’t need all that negativity, we’re not even that important in this world. Fashion weeks aren’t important for us, they should simply be about inspiration. And that’s what I wanna do, too. I want to soak up all that inspiration and pass it on to you, my readers. And I hope you all know that!
And that is also why I want to start supporting my fellow bloggers by giving, you, my readers, a weekly overview of my favourite posts from my colleagues and favourite blogs. Enjoy!
Magdalena of Hoard of Trends showed off her super elegant outfit, a perfect burgundy dress, which suited her tattoos perfectly! I already loved it when I saw her sporting the look at the COVER PR sundowner party and still love it in the post! When I discovered her instagram post, where she acted as the lovely lady in the red dress emoji, I was truly and finally smitten!
A great review of the COVER PR Party, my favourite event last week, was posted by lovely Minnie on her blog Minnie Knows. We even met Minnie a second time later that week at the Hallhuber cocktail and afterwards, had dinner with her. I love meeting bloggers a little longer than the usual “Kiss, kiss, hey, bye!” and especially, when they are so sweet and actually have something to say! I hope we weren’t too drunk for Minnie’s taste, hehe.
Valerie of simple Et Chic, whom I didn’t see last week but of whom I am such a big fan, posted a very interesting and true post about the current situation of the blogger business on her blog. I just read the article out loud and had to agree to many of her aspects. Definitely worth a read! Click here if you speak German and want to know more about her thoughts.
A lovely Instagram-Fashion-Week-Recap was posted by Marie of Glitter Everywhere. I love her clean, bright Instagrams, anyway, and creating a FW-recap from it shows that even with an iPhone, you can create impressive pictures that even look great on a blog!
And finally, my favourite outfit for fashion week came from Kayla of Not Your Standard, who simply knows how to dress perfectly minimal! The look is wearable, perfect for a stressful day full of shows, meetings and events and stays calm while still looking super chic! I love it!
