And this is how you’ll stay chic and warm at the same time!
My sweeties, next week, I’ll travel to Berlin again because it’s fashion week once more. Who of you will I see there? ♥
At the moment, my mind is still set on something else, though. Next to all the planning. Because I’m currently doing my detox-week and started my workout-routine again. I felt like I needed both after a lot of hanging around during the holiday season.
So, I’m doing sports every day and I also started rebooting my body with eating a hell load of vegetables, only little salt and coconut oil and some nuts or edamame for the proteins. For breakfast, I’m having hot lemon water and fresh squeezed orange juice or pineapple, almond milk and coconut flakes. I’m usually having 1 piece of fruit and 4 pieces of veggies in this week while reducing my carbs and drinking loads of water. It feels really good reducing the sugar and leaving out all meat and dairy products which my body doesn’t really approve of, anyway. But in the long run, I just love cheese too much to leave it out forever… would you be interested if I told you more about this topic in another post?
Anyway, back to the outfit. I believe that you don’t have to dress up like crazy for fashion week – a warm statement knit in red or blue, bold red lips and all that mixed with elegant black would be a perfect outfit for meetings and events – no need for a summery dress in winter. Of course, I can’t leave out the heels – but if you only spend your time indoors or in taxis, that is still fine, even in winter. Or wear tights underneath your pumps. Another idea I just read about is applying warming lotion from the pharmacy on your feet before going out. It sounds weird, but for a short moment outside, this could be a clever little helper. But my fake fur jacket is coming with me to Berlin, nonetheless! Who knows how cold it’s really gonna be, hehe.
How do you stay warm and stylish in the cold? Do you have some clever ideas, too?
