Marrakesch is good for your souls. And definitely worth the trip.
My sweeties, we are finally back on the blog, I’m so excited to share all our Marrakesh stories with you! For starters, I’d like to tell you a bit about where we stayed and what we did. But just a little overview, the rest will follow real soon!
So, where to start? Max and I were completely overwhelmed for two reasons: One, because we stayed at the most amazing hotel we’ve ever had the chance to see from the inside: the Selman Marrakech. This hotel is a true oasis at the borders of Marrakesh and there, you really feel like prince and princess! The service is incredible, the area breathtaking, the horses marvellous and the rooms super big and lovely! There’s gonna be a blogpost about the Selman Marrakech, including a movie! Can’t wait to show you, soon!
For the second part of our trip, we moved to the city center of Marrakesh, into the modern and super lovely Radisson Blu Carré Eden hotel. We were immediately stunned by this totally different world. Marrakesh is crowded, loud, crazy and absolutely beautiful, somewhere between the marvels of old Paris and the influence of the Arabian world.
We’ll tell you more about Marrakesh and all the things we did and saw in our next posts. Until then, I wanted to show you my almost all-white look from our first evening, shot in the golden hour…
I’m wearing a knit by Ivyrevel (but the wrong way around so to say), my earrings are by Ivyrevel as well, my Gucci is the one from last year – finally took it out again. I’ve also combined an old pair of Levi’s shorts, my new and beloved Valentino Rockstud Spike via Breuninger* in “ivory” colour and finally, I could wear my perfect and absolutely favourite Hermès Oran sandals again, which I’ve now also bought in black. There simply are no more comfortable shoes than these. My monstera-necklace, by the way, is from Jo & Judy*, isn’t it lovely? I’m a fan!
How do you like my outfit and did you ever visit Marrakesh yourself? How did you like it? Do let me know in the comment section!
