My dearies, yesterday was such a horror-day! My knee is currently a bit hurt and all I can do is lie down all day long… then my blog was broken in the way that you couldn’t comment on my posts anymore and I couldn’t publish new articles and also I’m constantly worried about money. Oh well, such is life, eh? At least, the blog is fine again today and I’m also feeling a lot better again. A good night’s sleep can mend a lot of things, right?
Today’s outfit is a very simple one but with extremely exciting details! My white ZARA-blouse includes such wonderful stitches on the side and beautiful detail at the front – a cute and tiny hippie-blouse! My crossed-band sandals (similar in pink here, wahoo!) are so minimalist and cool and my Chanel bag the classic again. Or how about my golden and silver flash-tattoos? Aren’t they an exciting detail?
But the most exciting piece in this outfit is my lovely DL1961 ripped denim*, which I’d chosen to wear 2 sizes too large, to get that perfect oversized-boyfriend-style. Of course, that’s not everybody’s thing, but I reaaally love it. But since we’re already talking about jeans preferences, we have to ask ourselves one question:
What kind of jeans girl are you?
If you are, like me, a true fan of the ripped denim, the above jeans by DL1961 is really perfect. But we also musn’t forget the “rippers'” favourite brand, One Teaspoon. If you are really into distressed, destroyed and torn jeans, you will probably already know about that brand! I also like to call them “mama-goes-mad-jeans”, hehe. For obvious reasons.
Or are you part of team flared jeans? I’m personally not a big fan, but they are definitely trend again, I can’t deny that. These Citizens of Humanity flared jeans actually look pretty cool, even I’d try them on… and these flared jeans by MacGuire Denim and these by J Brand are also pretty cool.
Or are you the militant skinny-jeans-fan like I used to be, too? I actually never wanted to wear anything else. At least, I’ve broadened my horizon a little bit by now. But it’s true, skinny jeans are amaze and especially the ones with torn knee areas (perfect for a swollen knee, haha). these bright skinny jeans by Siwy are very lovely but also the darker skinnies by AG are super pretty! Skinny will never go away, or what do you think?
